I was wondering, about how many search engines should I submit my site to per month. If I have subdomains with in my main site should I submit them too?

It is not necessary to submit your link on all the search engine, better build quality links to your site and it get crawled by all SEs.

 

I would say use top 10 search engines and submit your site. It is enough for search engine submissions.

You DO NOT need to submit to websites nowadays. When building links to your webite you will automatically be crawled. The submit url is an old method but search engines keep it only becauae people would bombard them with the same question over and over again.
