When a search engine crawls your website and begins to list your site for certain words, do they list all the words your site can possibly rank for right away or would it build over time. Is there any way you can see that your site isn't going to rank very well? Also at the beginning of the month in aw stats all my kw's get deleted, will this happen forever? it doesn't really make any sense to me because i know I'm still getting ranked at the beginning of the month. I hope some of these questions can be answered i think its really important. I can never get any of my sites to list more than 10-20 listings, and sometimes by the end of the month i will have 30 for one site but it resets and then some months it doesn't get that far again??? I guesse i mostly need to know when you should know if your sites going to rank well
no, i do use that though, but i guesse im just woundering, you now when goggle lists a page, do they list all the listing you can possibly have right away or will it take time, i know it does take time but how much. I want to know how long i should wait for results before i say ahh this site isnt goign to rank very well i better make changes
NOTE: If your website has not been designed for maximum search engine appeal, then the chances of it receiving a high ranking are very small. It is wise to evaluate your Meta Tags and content before submitting to the major search engines and make sure that you Optimization your website before submit it. google usually take months to get listed also see these thread under: Search Engine Optimization there many good tips here
Well, certain aspects of it are known and discussed on this forum. But it is very clear that to some extent it's just plain luck, and not predictable, and guesswork too. So just keep building the website and links to it. There's no harm in tweaking things like meta-tags and descriptions and title-tags and all that, but just adding content and finding your niche, and getting links to your site are all also important. And PATIENCE.
