Hello, Can you guys please suggest me a best tool to check the search engine position for the search phrases we target at? I know few tools out in the web and each one of them are giving different results. I would be glad if i get a tool, which gives me results of multiple search engines and no matter in whatever position the site is listed.
Try the one that shawn wrote: http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/ I've been using it for several years. . -jay
Hello, I visited the url you provided and it asked me to register to use the tool, while registering it asks for Google API Key. What does it mean?? Also, is there any free tool which gives results without registering?
It takes a second: https://www.google.com/accounts/New...ekey&followup=http://api.google.com/createkey The API key is tied to your account so that the queries are attributed to you and not his server. Otherwise G & Y would block him. It's a great tool for tracking keywords, pages, and pagerank over time. . I think he's got over 50,000 users and is tracking 1,300,000+ keywords. Try this for free position checkers: http://www.google.com/search?q=website+position+checker
The website is cool indeed. But unfortunately it gives result only from google. I will be glad if i get listings from all major search engines. However, I too used the tool to check google rankings. Its simple efficient and less time consuming and accurate above all. Anyone know similar tool for yahoo, msn and other search engines??
the above link is for google for yahoo, msn this is the link http://www.seoutility.com/en/Ranking_Check.htm
I cannot get it to work. I am getting search engine traffic for one of my blogs and I can see what keywords are getting me this traffic with my stat counter and when I put these phrases in the google checker it says I am not in the top 100, but when I search them I am in the top 5.. Maybe I am doing something wrong..
This is what I use. Very versatile and complete. http://www.link-assistant.com/rank-tracker/index.html
No one is accurate. I've tried so many softwares and all are showing different results. Best option is to do this manually. It is quite reliable and better option.
Checkout http://www.ventio.se/seo-tools/google-position/ its the most accurate tool and its amazing......
Why don't you try Free Monitor for Google? (just write its name in google search and download) Create your keyword list (.txt) using Google Keyword Tool External, then import it into Free Monitor, set how many positions soft has to check and go! Regards
