Search Engine Optimization

    I have been reading about optimizing your pages for search engines. I am after the best program to use to optimize my site. Are there good free ones around and do they all be optimized for google. Are there some programs that optimize your site which google does not like.

    Would optimizing a site help in search engine placement?

    Programs cant optimize for you. It needs to be done by human hand. And yes, SEO will help your rankings. Thats the whole point. You should spend some time on these forums to learn more about SEO.

    Yeah It would help :D That's why it is called Search Engine Optimization. It depends on how you do it. And what kind of keywords you are targetting at and the time you spend after it.

    Software for search engine optimization!! I havent heard of any, if there are i.e.

    the term SEO itself means optimization for the search engine hence it is obviously done for better search rankings/placements ;)

    If you have read enough of SEO then you should have known that there are two factors ON Page and OFF Page. If you want to know more about SEO read teh SEO section in DP and you will learn how to optimize ur website.
