Hello All, I just wanted to bounce this question off of a couple of the members here. If one were to begin taking on SEO clients (I am talking small businesses here) what tools are absolutely essential in managing clients? OK, for example, I know there are tools like Internet Business Promoter that help to manage and organize clients campaigns, track progress, heck even submit them to many of the right places... This, for me, wouldn't work too well. I am looking for a suite of web based tools that will allow a client to interact. Are these tools available commercially? If so, can you throw some names my way in this thread? It would help tremendously. Thanks a million, Jeff
Hi There, Thanks for the quick reply! As for the requirements... I am looking for a commercial script (PHP or otherwise) that essentially lets the client interact with the SEO experience. I mean seeing their rankings for the keywords we have chosen, seeing directory submissions, checking into other important items as well. I want these folks to be able to see the progress and track their what they are spending money on. So in short, I need all of the "Essentials" of SEO to be documented and tracked in a neat logged in member environment. This is the best way I could explain it Thanks again, Jeff

I am truly considering programming my own solution, but I need either an option b, or a baseline to work from. i think this tool will be a great item to start with while I put some effort into developing something of a custom nature. an html editor, and knowledge. That's about it - all those tools are just extra you don't need them, they may help with speeding up things like filling forms, but they don't guarantee seo success. The most successful seo is done manually - so it's all about knowledge and luck (which plays a big role).
