    Hey All,

Im starting to do a lot of freelancing work and I have a client who wants SEO done to his company but isn't exactly very knowledgeable about it. He seems to be under the impression it can all be done in a matter of days and results show right away. He also wants a report on it??

My question is, what the best way to inform the client about the time and intricacy that SEO involves and how to go about in writing the report to show what I've done in a way the client who isn't too tech savvy would understand.

So far I'm working on and have been working on -

-redesigning their enter site to be w3c compliant, re-coding everything with SEO URL's, and more search engine friendly code,
unique metadescription & keywords for everypage, anchor texts within site, adding titles/alt tags to all images located in site, creating a sitemap, submission to major search engines

-creating social marketing personas on facebook, linkedin, twitter. get them in the stepping stone, then eventually focus on this area once i get everything else out of the way

-finding relevant sites to do link exchanges with

-submitting articles to squidoo, and other sites
