Hi, Scenario: 1. 3 Newspaper website with different domain names and brands but under same umbrella. This newspaper target different states in USA. Say for example : Sports News 3 Newspaper in 3 states say - Florida, Texas, New York A sports story / content first published in New York State is then instantly spread around other two newspaper website for Texas and Florida. My question is to how to optimize me website for the following: 1. The Newspaper site that published the story first should get all the credit. What is the best method to do that when you copy it on other two website. Sometimes the problem is Texas site is index before the site that has original story. Therefore, search engine found that story first time on that site. How to make sure you pass the credit to correct website. 2. How do you increase page views or traffic of both the websites. Will Google penalize the other two websites for having duplicate stories. If yes, please provide suggestion so that google do not penalize. 3. Any other suggestion would any one think is the best strategy or solution to work with newspaper website that have same stories so that newspaper sites are optimized to the fullest. Thanks in advance.
