So I just was rereading my little Web Developers SEO Cheat Sheet for Fun! Well actually I was cleaning off my desk and something caught my eye. No it was not last year's bikini calender...no It was a little blurb on Search Engine Indexing Limits. So the Page File Size is said to be "no more than 150 Kb. (Before Images, CSS, and other attachments)" What exactly does this mean? I assume this is in regards to the size of the page template before you add all your cr*p? I commonly have some hi-def photos that are that large themselves. And all my Good Text info is at the bottom of the page. How do I know if this is getting crawled. And what is the high end of total suggested page size. Am I good with some large photos? So What Are The Magical Search Indexing Limits?
page size is quite literally, the size of everything in your code. if this is images in <img> tags, then it is in your page size!
Web pages with a large file size should have meta tags to help define the most important keywords and phrases. For internal SEO, it is always best to make sure that the most important information is at the top of the page. The content in the first and the very last part of a web page is very important when it comes to SEO.
