Here are is a list of the number of hits recieved from all search engines since i started my cricket blog last june 2009. Month 1 = 133 Month 2 = 125 Month 3 = 159 Month 4 = 161 October (3 days in) = 29, therefore projected 300 for october Do you think these figures will progress in to thousands a day? are they normal for a start-up niche blog like mine? should i be hoping for more or doing more to get more hits over the next few months? Are there any other blog owners who could share their own search engine stats from their first few months? Thanks for your help

Look at http://www.cricket20.com though, they rank very high and recieve around 1000,000 hits per month, and all their content is copied. I do give credit, there is a source link at the end of each article. No where is it claimed the blog has written the article.

I'd say do good keyword research on your niche and optimize your site. As the T20 World Cup approaches, you can expect a good gain in traffic, if your content is good enough, some may even convert to long-term visitors.
