    Usually that the link have been optimised for a seach engine, title tags and positioned in an important part of the site!

    Search engine friendly navigation means your website pages should have links to other pages and they shouldn't be using javascript for nagivation to other pages.

    Use text link navigation instead of images for links. If you have to use image navigation then include text link navigation in the footer.
