Hi all DP Members, How to make java script code search engine friendly for UCM (universal content management ) Any Idea about this Thanks in Advance. waiting for your reply.
I don't think there is much you can do. Google says they are starting to run some javascripts, but to what extent? I would forget doing much with javascripts for SEO. Html/text is always better IMHO. Put enough of text content to compensate for any javascript content you might have. I think I saw a Matt Cutts quote saying that if the average person looking at your scource code has no idea what the page is about, then google probably will have trouble as well. But that was before google said they were going to run some javascripts. Stephen C
@stephenc is pretty much dead on. Treat javascripts as though they can't be read by SEs (at least for now) and always compensate by putting the same content (or similar content) is plain HTML.
