    Interesting article. Confirms though that even after numerous algorithm updates it's still incoming links and anchor text that rule in the world of SEO.

    Not very true. It should be 2-1.5%.

    Do below experiment [At your own risk]

    change the title of the page which is on 1# for a keyword.

    E.g buy blue jeans >> page title is : Buy blue jeans online, Order blue jeans online

    now, change title to buy iball keyboards online, order iball keyboards.

    Result: After few days (7-8) page will start ranking for keyboard related keyword.

    I have done this to my site and confirm the result. How does page rank well for which it doesn't have any backlink with keywords in anchor text?????

    SEO is not just about reading articles. Its all about experience. Although SEOmoz is reputed, doesn't mean its all words are true.
