I have a search engine: http://www.bpled.com It have no content on the search page so is it against the TOS? I mean http://www.blackle.com does have no content too.
according to Google TOS u need to have some content on page where u put the search bar. so better to putup some content there. Blackle must have internal setting with Google

I think you should contact Google support for this. Google can ban you with any reason !! contact them and make u r own setting
as a general principle, (i.e. not just online) just because you can find other people doing something, doesn't mean it's ok. Murder, for example, is committed by other people every day. Doesn't mean it's ok for YOu to kill though, does it?
What defines 'content'? If you have a few hyperlinks to other sites does that meet the requirement to have 'content' on a Adsense search page like the ones listed above?
If you put 2 lines of text, and maybe 2 pictures that jugest the dark, (what i had in mind now is a thunderstorm , but i don't know if is the best example, or a sunset) you'll get your content and it will not be that annoying.
Your search engines look cool, but Google can be very picky. You should add some content or contact Google to be sure.
