    Search Editor is a new job title in online media. The Times has hired a Search Editor to work on searchability and search engine optimization. More about these news read here: http://www.pandia.com/sew/547-search-editor.html

    A couple weeks ago SEO Workers launched our social community web site Searcheditors.com which allows web professionals to network with other members of the community and thus help promote articles and tutorials on the needs of search engines and their users. This web site also helps professionals learn the latest trends in web site development and search.

    To be specific, you can submit an article that will be reviewed by all and will be promoted, based on popularity, to the main page. When a user submits a news article it will be placed in the "unpublished" area until it gains sufficient votes to be promoted to the main page”.

    Searcheditors.com is committed in creating a well-regarded destination for web professionals to connect with other members and share views on the latest trends in web site development and search engine optimization/marketing. It also provides opportunity to get your article in front of other members. The web site will evolve in response to the requirements of the web professionals.

    After all I would strongly encourage web professionals to take a look at the site and give us a feedback and suggestions as to how we can further develop Search Editors Community to meet your needs.

    Thank you all in advance for your kind contribution. ;)

    Well first it should probably be something more than what looks like "Just another mediocre wordpress based blog with a stock template"

    Second, any theme it does use should follow semantics and other coding guidelines that help with both SEO and accessability, as such things like:

    <div class="toptitle" id="ls_thetitle-0">
    <a href="/Search-Engine-Optimization/seo-analysis-tool-tutorial-munky-online/">SEO Analysis Tool Tutorial - Munky Online</a>
    </div>
    Code (markup):
    Should be right out the window (since that DIV should be a h2 tag) alongside things like using entity spaces for indenting, title attributes that actually water down your keyword ratings or could get you flagged for manual review (though much of that blame can be placef solely on turdpress' shoulders since that rubbish is hard-coded in), presentational markup, and a whole host of other bad practices.

    95k of HTML output for a measly 4.5k of content should be a huge red flag that something's amiss.

    Since we did not have the time, we had to buy a theme where we already invested a lot of work to clean it up, tweak it and modify in the direction you have mentioned. If you look at our web site which we created ourselves per hand and not WYSIWYG editors www.seoworkers.com you will see that we are striving what you have mentioned.

    It is a great support to get points as you mentioned above at one place, so we go on fixing.

    Thanks for the very constructive review. Keep them coming. :)
