Search CTR, Terrible

hey everyone, just wondering if my search ctr is as bad as everyone elses. Im getting less than 1% ctr, have earned less than a nickle with 200+ searches.

That sound normal??

Think if I remove the search my ad block ctr will increase?

yep, that's normal from my experience

 

mine is worse than you. i think it's a good ctr

 

Yep, definately sounds normal. In all the time I've been with them, I think I've only had 2 clicks from the search box. Now I just don't bother putting the Google search box on my sites

 

if I remove the search bar do you think my ad block ctr will improve??? I've heard of an increase of up to 1% when removing search.

Thats pretty normal. I get between 0.0% to 1.5%. And yeah, gets dimes per click. In total I get 700+ searches per month & with high number of searches, Google offsets whatever I make from Google search.

 

You can improve it by changing the search results page.....change the background color to match your site....ect...
