Search console 'fetch as google'?

Hey guys, I am being told the 'Fetch as google' option in the 'Search Console' allows you to see how your site looks in the serp, I enter my site into the filed and choose 'fetch and render' but I am not seeing it redirecting me to google, how is this supposed to work please?

You need a special SEO tools called Rank Trackers to see how your site shows up in an actual google search. There are some:

• Topvisor Rank Tracker
• SERPs
• RankWatch

 

Thanks, I have written to them to first confirm as they are all paid softwares, no FREE tool for this I am guessing?

 

This tools are paid, but you can google "rank checker" for free tools.

 

From my searches it seems all of these tools are keyword checkers? I am not seeing an option to see how my site looks on google so if my new site is not ranked yet then no way I can it in google search results.
