    What is better from your experience with adsense search box? Which provides better results?

    a) Open results on Google in a new window
    b) Open results on Google in the same window
    c) Open results within my own site

    It again depends on the quality of the content in your site.

    It varies from one site to another. To test which one works best for you, try each of the three methods one by one and then compare their reports. Should help if your site is a new one.

    I have been trying it on various sites for a year, but haven't noticed a difference... I am however interested in the statictics of others.
