Search Box On Non-Content Pages?

Some sites like blackle.com and yoomy.com use an adsense for search box on pages with no other content. Is this allowed by adsense? I know blackle is popular and has been around for a while without being banned.

    Hello,

Basically the search box doesn't display results based on the content of the website, unless it's set to site-search. As long as the website owner sets it to search on google and not on his own website, there should be no content required. An adsense account is required though in order for the owner to display ads along with the search results. Even so, those ads are based on the search query and not on the site "topic".

    Hope this helps.
