Well mine is 4 months old and it was ranking since the first month on the 1/2 page for email related keywords and this is the second time it's disappearing from the search result while it recovered last time with in a days, so lets see what is going to happen now >?
Oh, so it's not just me. And I was just blaming it on my server which went down for a few days recently. Maybe when this PR thing is over they'll be back up. If not I'd best start bending my knees to Geneshu!
My traffic's been waayyyy down for 3 weeks now. Fingers crossed it returns as good or better than before but it's hard to understand why the sudden drop (literally over night).
My site in my signature is over 5 years old with a pr6 and 3 days ago it is impossible to find on google. This happened out of no where. I am hoping it will come back I have no idea what happened.
Basically you have a canonical URL issue. Google sees your site as four sites due to the various methods people link to you with. In doing so they see your absolute URL as duplicate content and has tossed it into supplemental results. Results 1 - 2 of 2 for http://www.earlyvegas.com In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 2 already displayed. If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included. Results 1 - 10 of about 1,040 for www.earlyvegas.com Results 1 - 1 of 1 for http://earlyvegas.com Results 1 - 10 of about 590 for earlyvegas.com So you can fix this via .htaccess using the 301 redirect or fix for canonical URLs or visit Google Webmaster Central and use the prefered domain selection tool. Rankings should improve after 3 or 4 months and settle in plus this will also help solidy your PageRank. Peace!
I'm sorry I can't stop laughing at this statement... Anyhow - I am having the same problem! My site was ranking in the 30s for the keywords in my sig. Now those keywords are buried at about page 300+ for almost 2 weeks My site still ranks decently for other keyphrases that I hadn't gotten around to promoting. It's like I got penalized for this phrase or something?
I took a look at your website and found it pretty strange. Regardless of which link I click, I get absolutely no useful information expect notorious AdSense ads. Can you explain? Maybe that could shed some light on your general problem.
Hi, I'm sorry - who was this question directed to? I just wanted to make sure I wasn't attempting to answer a question that wasn't directed towards me.
You can't been talking to me can you? All my pages have content. Edit: OMG something is wrong. all links dont show content even though I know have linked them correctly
You have a canonical issue as well. I think your drop on the keywords 'Visalia Ca Real Estate' may have to do with over optimization.
I'm not sure what this means exactly. Would you mind clarifying this statement? I am very new to SEO and I am thinking the keyword density is too high as well...I did a check with some of the tools listed on the forums and thought I should change it, but at the time I was getting great rankings. Now that my rankings took a dive I thought I might wait it out like other suggest, but maybe I should just suck it up and start fixing the problem. I also just realized that I had the anchor text in my sig linking to a sub-page and not my home page like I thought I did. Too much work - not enough sleep I appreciate your opinion - thanks for looking at the site for me.
Does this link work for anyone? http://www.animeomnitude.com/index.php?page=content/reviews/dragonballgt/dragonballgt If so I think I got dropped because something is wrong with links
YA I'M BAAAACCK http://www.google.com/search?q=watch+anime+online&hl=en&rls=GGLD,GGLD:2004-33,GGLD:en&start=10&sa=N lol someone turned of register globals on my site so I basically had no content. as soon as I switched it back on I was back in the SE. although lost 5 ranks
I encounter this problem from time to time and many webmasters encountering the same problem I guess. my wild guess why this is happening is because of the new crawling technology of google, they update their index pages fast. For example if you update your blog wait for at least 20-60 minutes and you will see them in google search result. I guess this really affect the positioning of sites to search engine they provide the newest index page to their visitors than the old pages. Obviously people searching want fresh result and not outdated result. Maybe that is the reason why the new technology of google give more credits to newly post content than old contents. Just my thoughts
Just checking my refer logs now and someone came in from the keyword 'watch anime online' from google but now I've gone off it again/.
like what the people aid above, just give your site some time and add some more content. this has happened to me a lot lately
I implemented these changes hopefully thats the problem and if it is I am for ever grateful to you. Thanks
