    hi all,

Just take an example, I have a website having html version as well as .php version. And I have made them as two different websites...like html design and view is totally different with the .php pages...

What could be the search engines effects for the website ?

What do you think about this guys....

Why do you have two versions, is there a reason for this?

You'll find it's far better SEO to have one site, you won't run into duplicate content problems and also you'll find that it's a lot less time and money promoting one site rather than two.

That's not the case, there's no differece at all in terms of search engines ability to crawl HTML. PHP, or .NET

Yup, its not the View/design that would be the determining factor here, Its the content.. If both the versions have same content, expect one of it or both to feel some duplicate content issues..

Keep the content unique and rule with both, In that case, all the pages would be treated as unique pages of the same site.
