Hi David I am not saying they are a wast of time David but in my opinion they are not something you should spend much time on, there are submitters out there that will post your url to hundreds of scuttle sites, very few will show up as backlinks and indeed do you any good [ most scuttle sites will be full of spam and are of no quality ]. I think the key to social bookmarking is to find a few quality sites and submit wisely, use that as "part" of your traffic stratedgy and mix your link building methods... sorry I just realised I did not answer your question... scuttle sites are produced using a much used freely available bookmarking site script. regards David
