Scrollbars inexplicably not appearing in firefox

    My website uses a horizontal scrollbar in it's design done via using a <div style="height: 80px; width: 660px; overflow: hidden"> around my content. The only problem is in firefox, when the content inside that div tag gets to a certain size, the horizontal scrollbar stops appearing.

    I'm tired of trying to figure this out. Some help would be appreciated. Thanks.
