Scripts - Auto Server Cancle

    Greetings,

When viewing an account in OptiGold (we are using v3.3 currently) then you click Scripts, then Auto Server Cancel, a popup box pops up, and askes to confirm the action with a Yes/No box. However, all the cancel scripts have already run! No matter which box you choose, the account has been cancled..
Even if you ignore the question, and let the popup window stay on the screen, I can watch all the server events running on my system, deleting the account.

Is this an option not selected somewhere? ( I can't find any setup to look at this Auto Server Cancel selection. ) Or is this a bug?

    Thanks!

the Dialog box that pops up says:

    "Mark account as being canceled?"

and has 2 buttons, NO, and YES.

That's the normal one that comes up after the event was run.

Correct.. but did you read my message about the bug? The accounts are canceled no matter what.. what good is a dialog box that pops up, if it runs anway?

The case in point... my accounting person selected this option BY ACCIDENT.. and she clicked "NO".. fully expecting the account to not be canceled.. which I found out clicking NO doesn't matter at all.. which to me, would indicate a bug.. which is why I asked in the first place..

The dialog is only for if you want to mark the account as being canceled (within Optigold) or not.

Ok, what good does that do? so I click No to not cancel the account in OG.. but all the server event script still run and totally remove the account from all systems.. deletes email accounts, deletes dialup accounts, etc..

    What good is that?

For what you are trying to do, it's not any good since the dialog shows after all the events are run.

So why have the dialog show at all? Is there any way to disable this dialog box?

No, there is not a way to disable the dialog.
