last time i used scripteen i actually disabled the gallery view as a way to protect minors in case there was adult content uploaded. very very very few public uploader galleries are 100% family friendly. to change it from next to numbered pages im sure you would need to hire someone. To be totally honest, the scripteen script works well for people with a budget of $0.00, but if your considering to hire someone and or custom features, then i would recommend you look into other commercial scripts and or designing your own from the ground up.
