Hey guys, New to the forum, new to online advertising. I will be launching a site soon, and I have a question reguarding using a CPM method (If I see fit to use). How do you controll when the advertisement has reached its 1000 impressions interval? Meaning; if someone pays for 80,000 impressions, and then it reaches that point, is there a script that I can use/preset to automatically change ads? Thanks for your help!!!
Welcome to dp and online advertising . Take a look at this script here. It's VERY good or the money, only $38. The developer is a good guy and hsi product is very good. I have this powering a few of my sites. You can even show the ads down to city level just like the big boys. So say if you have a client in California and he only want to spend money advertising to people that he deal with locally, you can make his ads only show to visitors in California etc. Very powerful, good luck with your venture. url: http://www.clippersoft.net/index.php
That is truley and awesome program, exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much webnovations: I noticed that your mangothing.com site has an adsense portion at the bottom...in RED! I didn't know you could change the background color. How did you go about this? Modify the adsense script background/text colors?
you can change it to match your site in your adsense area. When you create an ad, it will let you choose to show images, text, or both and you can set the colors to match your current site.
Thanks for the info. I don't have an adsense account yet, so I can't check the answer to my next question; would you mind telling me if you get more $ per click if you allow pictures instead of just text? btw: I went to your sites and clicked on a few ads.
n problem, it really depends on the advertisers and what they pay but it also depend on the niche too. Depending on your website layout, some time text ad will work better and vise versa. One thing you need to remember is that it's against their terms to tell people to click on the ads. Most new webmasters make the mistake of proving free information and then have a statement on their site saying something similar to "if you find our service useful, please support our sponsors and click their ads below" etc. Good luck with your site and thx
