Script notifies for new PM even after reading PM

Guys

I am having some problem since few days. Whenever I read PM, again it notifies me that I have new PM. For example I received one itrading point notification PM, I read that PM but when I read other PMs that PM is still "bold/unread" and script is notifying me again that I have new PM.

Means script is not marking PMs as read even after reading. Any one other having same problem?

It happens from time to time. That just means the database is slow to update the status as read. Happens when we have a heavy load on the server or when it's simply throwing a temper tantrum. Nothing to do but wait it out unfortunately.
