Script I Can Use to Track Conversions?

    I started a forum, and I am looking for a script that works with Analytics to track sign ups and refferals. I'm also wondering, if I find such a script, how to implement it, because I don't know how to get it online.

    Why do you need a script to work with analytics to do what analytics can do by itself?

    Analytics doens't do that unless you put in some kind of code, so basically I was wondering what kind of code I would need to use.
