Hi guys, I'm looking for a coder for my new website. Requirements PHP (working with big sql DBs), XHTML+CSS. No javascript/AJAX needed. DB and design in PSD is provided. Script Custom made or based on open source software. Joomla! is the preffered opensource CMS. If an opensource based script is used than the core files have to stay untouched (to allow smooth security updates of the CMS). What is it I have a huge database of hotels (100 MB, 100,000 hotels). I need to build a kind of a directory of hotels. Three levels (country, region/state, city - e.g. USA / West Virginia / Alexandria). Every place has a description (article) - e.g. article about the USA, about Alexandria etc. Not every country has regions though. Every hotel fits into one city. Database includes all information needed. The only thing to add is the history of prices. Most of hotels have longitude and latitude - use Google Maps to get that place. The script should be able to download photos of hotels automatically from links provided in a different DB and save them locally. Checking for new photos shouldnt be all the time (otherwise it will be way too slow) but once in a month or something like that. User should be able to register and publish review of every hotel in the directory (that's why I think opensource may save you time and money to me as e.g. Joomla supports this). User should also be able to rate the hotel (most of opensource have rating of articles -> this might be easy way to go). The script has to be fast. I understand that 100,000 hotels is a lot but it has to be considerably fast. Not 20 secs to load a page... Optional feature: I would like to have a simple deeplinking tagging system. Every hotel/city would have a number of random links to other cities. Then save the state to the DB and show the same links every time. The links would be selected randomly for the first time then saved to the DB and after that the tags would be the same all the time. Send me your price estimate / references

I'm sorry I don't have time to go through the project with every single coder who sends me his MSN & Skype. I got offers ranging from $100 but most of the coders just sent me their msn/skype. If you have any question regarding this project then send me a PM or ask me any question in public. If you feel that my explanation of the project is not sufficient enough in any way then feel free to ask but I can't talk about the project with 20 coders... I simply don't have time for it. Talking about my budget is out of question. You should know / estimate how much work it would take to complete the project and how much money to ask for it. I understand that sometimes it is difficult but my budget has nothing to do with your price. If your offer is overpriced then I will not accept it - that's market... I forgot to mention - the DB is in CSV file at the moment. This CSV file will update every month or so. I need the script to handle an update of the DB from the CSV. Of course including adding new hotels / cities if this occurs. Sorry for my English, old
