Screwy results in Google Local

Wondering if anyone can explain this to me:

I'm doing some work for a hotel client, and when you Google search a keyword like "their hotel city name" for example, you get the little local listing with a mini-google map and address as the #1 result.

Now this is great - it's giving directions to our hotel...but the url is some other site entirely! And when clicked, it goes to some other hotel-search service in some other city. You can PM me for the exact keyword to see it in action. I'm kinda at a loss. My only thought is that this hotel-search service is more highly optimized for OUR address and OUR hotel name than we are.....is that possible?

Thats very possible, I see it happening a lot. Is it a portal site?
If yours is a very popuar hotel then its highly likely they have worked to rank for your Hotel as a keyword phrase.
