I started a website for which I thought was a good subject, but earlier i doubled checked the adwords tool by google, then realised my niche keywords were only being searched for <100 times per month, the bigger subject of my site was searched for alot but had a high competition! So i'm not sure i can compete. So scrolling down the list i saw a keyword not far from the main aim of my site, which has LOW competition and nearly 7000 searches a month, i've just bought a .com domain of the keywords.. Now my problem, i've spent past few weeks building up the website, it won't take much work to change a few words to aim at my new keywordw i want to aim at.. but i'm not sure what to do about the domain names.. The domains are only ONE word different... I could just point my new domain at my original domain? But then the site links are all different so will be pointless? Any help be appreciated.
You can redirect your old domain to your new... but more of an underlying issue is you really shouldn't waste time creating a site based on keywords. lol
What do you mean I shouldn't be creating a site based on keywords? Don't understand, what should I be doing? Sorry totally new to all this.
