I dabbled in Adsense before and I was excited when I made $3.00 a day. Today I made $71.47 while I helped a family member move, watched a movie, and then went to a BBQ. That makes me happy!
yeah I started off with adsense too. I bought those premade adsense sites etc etc.. lol... CB talks dollars, adsense talks cents (unless you put in a LOT of time and have massive traffic)
Nope, totally separate sites and totally different businesses. I still get paid by Adsense like twice a year, but Clickbank pays me twice a month!
So you're saying that for affiliate marketing you don't need to get lots of traffic? If that's what you're saying, Teach me your way to operate, please.
I think what he means is that of course you need traffic for affiliate marketing...its just that you can make so much more for each Clickbank sale versus adsense clicks.
Yeh that's right. But at least for me. It's much much easier to receive a click on the ads then making a sale.
Same here, I started with adsense too.I was doing adsense for almost 2 months and got $16.I have stop it long ago, the money is still lying in my account, it is somewhere now $22.I don't think I will ever get a check for it.
That's too bad CBox. I got my first check at my second month of adsense. It took me the first full month to figure out the basics of it. Good luck with you adsense then. And in affiliate marketing did you made any money?
I agree. I find it amazing that so many people think AdSense is the way to go. I think it's far harder to make money with AdSense than with affiliate programs. It's not even close.
This is the games for Adsense. Some will struggling for just earning penny per day, while the others will gain mountains of fortune from it... The main factor is how well can you play this Adsense's game.
Can you have both on a page or is that against adsense rules? Like Commision Junction and adsense together....
You can have both on a page but why would you? Why have a potential customer click on a .50 cent ad versus the chance of converting them into a $20 sale? Anything that distracts from getting them to the merchant page is not good IMHO.
It depends on a website that you have. I have a website that is targeted to affiliates. Switching adsense ads with clickbank ads wouldnot make any sense as those folks (even if they but products) will buy it with their own aff link. I find that having adsense with clickbank really helps maximizing income.
I'm sure some are doing well with Adsense, I just never did. I prefer the checks I'm getting now. But that's just me.
im pretty new to adsense, I made $148 they havent sent me my check yet, but that has been building for a few months tho. CB cannot be compared with adsense, i make tons more on CB then I will ever make with Adsense.
