I wanted to take a screenshot of a video but if i open it in media player and press print screen, when i paste it in to paint the video is black. I also tried nero showtime inbuilt screen capture but im not sure where that saves to. Any ideas how to take screenshots?

Maybe there's a program somewhere but the easiest solution would to use a camera/web cam and take a REAL screenshot (photo of your screen).

It's possible you gotta disable a certain setting on your windows media player. Not sure how to, but u gotta disable a setting in order to work.

I used Cyberlink PowerDVD to capture pic before.

Maybe you could search under Nero folder in Program Files.

    Just do what i tell!
Play the video in POWER DVD and over there you will find a option called CAPTURE AND PASTE IMAGE,click that and then paste in paint.
    All things will work fine!:)
