As a designer, resolution, and monitor colors are really important.

I recently switched from CRT to LED. And it is becoming headache for me. Just not feeling good for my eyes.

When i set brightness and contrast in graphic card options in windows xp and then set in samsung monitor menu, i just can't get anything right.

I used to have a screen filter in my CRT monitor and for LED, screen filters are not available. Atleast in my area where people think, LEDs are made for eyes but i dont believe this anymore.

Please someone advice me, how to have a proper light settings in room
Proper monitor setting in monitor menu brightness contrast etc

And even in windows xp graphic card.

The sharpness becomes great when i set that to 1600x900 but anything less than this just doesnt look right. Even 1024*764 is not that sharp and good for eyes.

1600*900 is ok for everything except the brightness which is making my eyes tearing.

    Please help guys.

    Thanks
