    If you have a mac you can do it for free with quicktime

    On windows I use snagit, the quality isn't as good as when I do it on my mac though

    I am using a Beta version of Debut software by NCH Software. They also make the VideoPad editing software. Both are free for personal use, but have license fees for commercial use. Debut captures the screen and also audio. I use it to record Powerpoint presentation slides and my narration.

    I use NIMBUS on my Chromebook. It is awesome for recording, screenshots, and more. I hope they never discontinue it!
