    Hi there

Can anyone recommend a free screen recorder software? I want to do a video tutorial on recording my cursor actions on my desktop.

    Many thanks in advance
    CHEERS :)

I use camtasia to do this for me. A very user friendly program. You get 30 days free trial.

Definitely go with camtasia because you can save your file to your computer and then upload it to any video server. The newest version 7 is very user friendly.

Well Camtasia is free for 30 days. You could also try Fraps (free forever) - only other one I know. Sorry.

Yep. Camtasia studio is the undisturbed champ when it comes to screen capture and recording software. Use can use a software called screen hunter for a cheaper(free)alternative.

Jing is a great tool for screen recording and its free, your video is saved online and you can just send a link to people to let them view the video. Pretty fast and easy.
Another option is quicktime 10. Its free forever!
