Have no idea of what you are talking about. Do you have a screenshot or some way of seeing what is happening?
Are you sure you dont need a custom driver ? that was wiped with the format. That would be my first guess.
Latest DirectX. Via 4-in-1 drivers (Hyperion) if you run an older Athlon/Duron system. Latest Video Card drivers. Check refresh rate. That can mess up a lot of stuff...
Didn't notice the format part. Have you gone to windows update's site and downloaded all the necesary ones?
....drivers was the problem. i was busy working through all the tons of critical updates, and installing the service pack. then directx 9c etc...then other software updates...then office updates..and lastly.....hardware. So i got to it in the end. Funny ...the graphics seem different on xp-pro......crisper cheers guys
i think so.. now that your machine is empty. go put it on ebay and get yourself a mac and never have to ive through that experience again. It will save you money in the end.
nice try, but wouldn't have a mac if it was FREE, or if you paid me to have it. but lets not go through that argument again..there's way too many threads already
I'm thinking of getting a 15 inch powerbook plus a 23" extra screen... They look the bollocks. Then maybe a Mini for in the living room as a media station hooked up to another 23". Taht'd be cool.
Bloody Brits..I will have you know that we are plenty advanced. In fact we have movie theaters and everything. I am going to see a brand new Sci Fi film called "Star Wars" or something. It doesn't look all that good and I imagine it will be a flop but what the heck, right?
