Hey guys, I've created some power point presentations that I'm going to be using as a bonus item to an e-book that I sell, and I need a way to convert these into streaming online video. I assume I need some sort of software that can capture a section of my screen as I play out the presentation? Or is there a specific way to convert a power point presentation into streaming video? Any thoughts? Thanks, Sean
Hello Sean, Have you tried opening your presentations in OpenOffice? It can export as a flash swf, but without transitions and animations. If you need them, check this free program: http://jooreports.sourceforge.net/?q=jooconverter
I found few threads on Digitalpoint Forums about screen capturing. They are very old threads. Do not reply them. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=110246&highlight=macromedia+captivate http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=48316&highlight=macromedia+captivate http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=156142&highlight=macromedia+captivate
