Screen-capture IE7 correct?

    Hi all,

I just created this website: http://www.marijkebaljon.nl It looks fine on my computer in both IE7 and Firefox 2 - but two online tools which check how it looks in various browsers both make the text very weird in IE7:

Don't worry about the menu on the left - it's just set to stay in the same position, which influences the screenshot. Unless you all say it doesn't work, it's probably just a side effect to the way the picture is made. What I am worried about is that the main text (black on white in the middle) doesn't flow normally: it's shown as if every word is on a new line.

I would like it very much if some of you can confirm or deny this problem is actually there on your computers as well. It may be that it's due to the fact that the tested version of IE7 is on a Windows 2003 computer - not XP or Vista.

    Hello, kh7.

Sorry, I have not IE 7 available right now. In XP with IE 6 SP2, it looks all right.

Thanks for replying. I figured it out though: I had a max-width, but no width or min-width on the main content div.

I still don't get why my version of IE7 showed something different from what the online test-sites showed - but since that has been solved and the code is now better than it was, I'm not too bothered.
