Scrapebox for getting Pagerank and links?

I was looking at this Scrapebox tool before: http://www.scrapebox.com/cheapskate

Has anyone used it?

I need to be able to get Pagerank and links for a site, and this looks like it will work.

Is there any other tools like this that are free and do the same thing, or is this the best? I have searched but not found anything similar, although i might be searching for the wrongs search terms.

Any ideas?

Thanks, but don't you think getting all the links and Pagerank for them manually would take forever with thousands?

I mean getting the links out of Google (instead of copy/posting) and getting the Pagerank of them just to be clear.

 

All links are not created equal, and high quality links are seldom gained through these types of schemes.

Really good links usually take time and effort. I have, for instance, gotten a couple of excellent high PR text links (as in a word in a sentence in the main body of copy) by picking up the phone and talking to a live person. I would not trade those links for hundreds of low quality, low PR links in comments, directories and the like.

That is why I say, there are no shortcuts.

 

Hi thanks, yes i understand what you mean about the low quality backlinks.

But just to update, i did buy this yesterday. But my intention was to get the links out of Google for different search terms, for example search "test" then get the top 500 sites ranking and collect all those URL's in a list.

Instead of copying/pasting 500 times manually and pasting each in Notepad, i was after a tool to do this and preferably one that could also show the Pagerank for all those 500.

So this Scrapebox seemed to do exactly what i wanted, i just wasn't sure if there was anything cheaper or for free somebody may know about.

But after playing around with it, it's perfect.

Scrapebox helps you find high PR sites that you can comment on... its not just crap PR sites... you can edit the lists as needed and only post to the ones you want... or use it for research...

It an excellent tool... as you already discovered... and it beats doing it manually or dealing with some twit begging them for a backlink or worst, paying for high PR backlinks...

This is the way to go, often updated, great support, standup guy to deal with...

I've used this tool, it's nice I like it a lot. Only sometimes I get a low success rate of finding my links on their blogs, but it's still a great tool.

 

Yea but you won't get a 100% success rate but you will hit a lot.

 

You can spin the comment on the blogs. Scrapebox accepts spin syntax.
