ScrapbookingArticles.info - Article site for sale

I'm selling the site at http://www.scrapbookingarticles.info complete with all the articles and full size versions of the photographs you can see on the site.

Though the domain has been around for a year, this is a new site so assume no traffic. We originally intended to build the site and monetize it with adverts, though we've got more than enough projects on at the moment so unfortunately we're having to let this site go to someone that can spend a bit more time advertising it.

The site is sold as seen - What you see here is what you'll get. I'll also throw in the original .doc's with the articles in as well as the full size versions of the photographs you can see on the site. The site uses PHP and includes a VERY basic article management script. Let me emphasise that this is primitive - It has a secure administration page where you can log in, create, edit or delete categories and create, edit or delete articles. It doesn't include any scope for inserting images - You'll have to edit the article and insert an <img> tag if you want to insert your own.

Buyer will get full rights to everything on the site apart from the article script - This was purchased by myself a couple of years back and is used on a few of my sites as well as ones I've sold, so just be aware this isn't unique.

The domain is at GoDaddy and has only just been renewed so you get nearly a full year on that. I currently host the site though the buyer is expected to have their own hosting for this. I will of course assist with the transfer of the site and offer basic support, such as how to upload new articles, though it's not rocket science and I don't forsee anyone having any problems.

This has the potential to be a nice little site in a niche topic, and with a little advertising you could easily make a little more from adverts and suchlike.

Any questions, feel free to ask. Payment via PayPal preferred unless previously agreed, auction will end in 72 hours and bidding starts at $20 and there is a reserve on this - I am aware that the site itself isn't worth that much due to the lack of traffic, though the content is good and original so I won't let it go for silly money.

I don't have a BIN in mind though feel free to shoot me an offer, who knows? :)

    Thanks,
    John

Who is Lisa Swift and do the articles have to keep her byline?

I'll start the bidding with $20.

I don't suppose you also own the apparently unused .com domain?

Fraid not, otherwise I'd definitely have sold it with that instead.

Lisa Swift is my other half and no, they don't have to keep her byline - Full rights to the articles are passed on to the buyer.

Thanks for the bid, increments of $5 please.

Thanks for the bid Domain Subway - It seems to be a pretty popular hobby though not quite so much with the male population!. The current highest bid is $55.00 via PM though that is pending confirmation that it is indeed a bid and not a BIN offer.

    Thanks,
    John

In response to a couple of PM's, the site is still available and seeing as though I've not had confirmation of whether the $55 was a bid or a BIN offer, bidding continues from $25.

Auction ends in just over 24 hours.

    Thanks,

Auction ends in a little over 8 hours, any questions feel free to ask. As stated in my original post there is a reserve on this and currently it will not sell.

    Thanks,
    John
