Scope for MT's in India

    Want to know about medical transcription future in India.

    Does an Indian MT as a freelancer working from home earn good money?

    Yes, I have seen many MT guys working from home. They earn good money. Companies don't pay good, that's the reason they prefer to work independently.

    Actually working independently is also the better option after the recession struck the world :)
    As you can have your own freedom and ideas because at the end of the day, its your own hard work that counts.

    This sound cliche but India is Golden Sparrow.
    MT work has scope mostly in larger cities, like Banglore, Delhi, Mumbai, and Colcata. Most population is prone to using the alternate medicine. My view is based on one time visit for ten days in 2009.
