"Scoop?" On Google

    Ok,

Here is what I believe is going on.

    Feedback is welcome and encouraged....

When checking the serps in the new update that's migrating, what I found was my site dropped mega for my primary kw and minor (3 to 25 places) on KW's located on pages I am not linking via link exchanges or optimized for. The terms I am using in my co-op advertisements are just slammed. Dropping 300 spots (ranking #1 in all non google feeds - even though I only have about 5% coop total weight to this KW) and the other is not in the top 1000 (this one I rank #1 in Yahoo and #2 in MSN)

    Both major search terms.

Now anything I search for that contains some clear form of the above KW in the co-op advertising tanked.

As I have been complaining about, when you do the site search only 5 pages that don't exist anymore come up.

However, when you do a search for my KW I monitor in the updated data centers Guess what shows up? Pages that supposedly do not exist in G anymore in a positions they shouldn't hold if the pages don't exist.

Seems to me, G is playing hide and seek with Co-op members pages in order to thwart the "weight" calculation factor and scare members out. It also explains why back links are still showing up for these sites in addition to PR. This would be the easiest way for them to "Shut down" the network without risking legal liability.

I think this goes back to another members post about fair competition etc so rather than really removing a site, they are hiding the site and penalizing for the links contained in the advertisements probably under the same penalty being applied for the "sandboxed" links. Hense the huge drop on kw included in any advertisement.

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

G playing hide and seek to shut down the co-op. This could create some legal problems as well. Risky game they're playing....lol (but....I'm not going that direction)

If you are experiencing the same thing can you check this and see? Sean, PM me and I'll tell you how to see if pages are still really in the index. All mine are......You just half to know how to find them.

Also, I'm going to set up a form mail for my visitors to e-mail G and ask them why they can only find my site in Yahoo and MSN...with 20K uniques and growing, hopefully I can get some publicity for my site and get Google to respond at the same time without banning me for real.....lol

I love it when I get visitors feedback telling me how much the appreciated the great information. ;) G losing out big time!!! (IMHO of course)

    Cheers

So can you share with the rest of us how we can find our "de-indexed" pages?

    Now, I haven't checked to see if this was from an updated data center - could be, but to tired;

    allinurl:www.mysite.com site:mysite.com

However, this definitely was from an updated data center with de-indexed:
site:www.mydomainname.com mydomainname.com (this is a copy paste from the search bar with actual name modification)

What I noted as unusual was the space in front of the "site" command.

So, am I on to something here or am I wasting my time?

    Cheers

Personally, I think you are wasting your time.

The Co-op is still far too small for G to concern themselves about it.

David was small but killed goliath...

Cheesy example I know, but I should imagine that G would be working hard to stop a system like this from working.

Doesn't do anything for my site. Just shows same number of pages as site: search and almost all either just plain link with no description or supplimental result. Site is gone for all intentional purposes from SERPS. Searching for site name comes up in 19th place showing an internal page deep in the site.

I see the exact same happen for sites that have nothing even remotely to do with the co-op. I wouldn't be suprosed if they're screwing with the way they show us their information again. Or some other major flaw.

If they were just screwing with the way they show information such as site:, allin, etc. it wouldn't be any big deal. It's the falling out of the SERPS for everything when you used to be in the top 20 or so and not even coming up for your site name that is killing me.
