Scientology is a more modern cult than it's competing religions. Scientology was designed by a science fiction author and the story line is ridiculously unbelievable. It appears to be a memetic virus targeted to prey on victims with low self-esteem and high net-worth.

For more information than you are ever likely to read, visit Operation Clambake.

Why not starting to believe in your selve instead of a weird cult.. That's the main problem in this world, we all believe something but can't find any trust in themselves

Scientology preach false doctrines. The pioneer of Scientology must be crooks who started their religions with intention to rob people.

    what is a "true doctrine"?

btw, this one is as false as many others, but just older, and followed by so many people that they appear to be true

It's not so much about the theology being preached. If someone wants to believe that aliens inhabited the earth millions of years ago, fine. Can't prove otherwise in any case. But the issue with Scientology is that it was started with the goal of making profit for its founder. You are required to pay (a LOT, in the six figures at least) in order to progress in Scientology and reach the "upper levels" where the "truth" is revealed to you and you can gain some "super" powers.
This would be the equivalent of a Muslim telling you that in order to read the Quran you need to give him $100 000, or a Christian saying that you have to give him your car if you want to understand the meaning of the Bible.

Nail, meet head. You got it!

Let us also not forget that certain celebrities are indoctrinated to keep little secrets from getting out. Like Cruise's sexual orientation... They are dangerous people that will stop at nothing to destroy people who preach against them. Beware.

Funniest thing I've ever seen on Scientology is from the "YAAFM" series at Zipperfish.com.
    See http://www.zipperfish.com/zf-toons/yaafm-11-scientology/

WARNING: DO NOT try to drink anything while watching that. You'll be cleaning a monitor and keyboard if you do. :D
When you get done... check the one on Muslims.
