I noticed that if you search for "Wikipedia" on Google.com you get this, every time: WTH is going on??? Has Scientology bought that spot from Wikipedia? For those of you who are unaware, Scientology is a ruthless corporate giant passing itself off as a "Church". It acquired nonprofit status by infiltrating the IRS.
It operates like a corporation, which in my eyes makes it one. 102 views and no one has any opinions? NOTE: It seems that the page is no longer appearing on the first hit. I wonder if Google rotates random, yet popular articles when presenting results. Pure coincidence?
How can you be sure I was mistaken? This would not be the first time Scientologists manipulated another organization. And really, if you honestly don't care why even post? It seems like you are the one who enjoys talking out of your ass...
Any large organization has to incorporate, which makes it operate like a corporation, whether it's Scientology or the Palm Beach Boat Club. So "corporation" doesn't describe it. Scientology meets Dr. Timothy Leary's criteria for a cult: it has: - Goals - Roles - Rituals - Rules - Vocabulary - Values - Space/time locales - Mythic context That makes it a cult.
Like I said, it operates like a corporation. On paper (legally) it is not a corporation but rather a tax-exempt "Church" which is a status that it acquired illegally to begin with. But this thread wasn't about dictionary definitions. Case closed for now I suppose.
All of those things are corporations. Churches are corporations. Non-profits are corporations. On paper, it is a corporation. What Is Your Point???? Look, if you are trying to say something, JUST SAY IT!!!
