Schools out, revenue's low.

I knew this day would come, well I run a gaming flash site. Relatively new *not banned by school censors*. I went from roughly $10 bucks a day to $2 :'( all because 60% of schools have been let out. Most of my traffic comes from kids having a boring day at school and just loading up my site to pass time with the games. Well now that school is out, the revenue has diminshed. I might not make my 100$ mark for the month (a first in 4 months).

Any idears on what I should do?

Oh ya I might wanna mention Adsense because when I don't, someone always moves my thread to site reviews for some reason.

    Adsense, Adsense, Adsense.

I run two gaming sites, and my earnings are up 45% since school started to be over for other visitors.

It's all good, just focus on adding new content.

I think most kids hang out with their friends more than they sit at the computer on summer break. All of my entertainment sites' earnings have dropped drastically too.

Take this opportunity to develop a different site. The only way you will continue to make money in the long run with AdSense is if you keep making new sites. If your traffic drops in the Summer, try and think of a website topic that would thrive in the summer.

Something like a vacation road trip site, a gardening site, or a lawn care forum. Try and think about what your target audience is going to be doing in the Summer and then design a site to meet the need.

Once your new site is up and running at full steam, school will probably in and you will have the reverse problem. Keep both sites current and fresh with new and interesting content. You will find that you make good money year-round that way.

Perfect opportunity to build more sites, as someone already mentioned. Better still, build a Console/pc gaming site. That way, you earn some dough no matter school's out or in.

i had a big drop in traffic and a bigger drop in earnings (almost 50% !) in the last 2 days. my big-earning pages are also from kids bored in school. i knew this day would come, so i've been trying to get more content for adults bored at work.. but it hasnt caught on yet.. :-(

I have an educational website (pt-br, www.infoescola.com ), In saturdays and Sundays, the pageviews are 60% less than other days. My revenue's low.
