    Hi All,

I'm working on a school project and I have to make a portfolio before I start on this. Now I don't have a clue where to start or what to do. I've heard from fellow students that they create a portfolio like on paper and a digital one. Now the portfolio like on reall paper is not a problem ( i think ) but how am I going to approach the digital one?

If someone can help me, please show me examples and how I should approach this.

    Kind Regards,

    Klaas Koopman

    A portfolio of what?

If it's all your websites, just create another one that listst links to all your digital work. Or you can download one of them free interactibe cd rom generators and make a nice cd-rom that inscludes all your digital work like websites, pdf's you may have written, images and what not.

I'm following a MultiMedia class. The portfolio will be filled up with projects from school and projects I do in my free time. At the end of my school I have to show this portfolio to my teachers and such and then they tell me if I now have enough experience to get my degree ;) so it needs to be absolutely fantastic!

I'm already working on an online version ( a website ) but I don't know how to make the paper one and the cd kind of versions.....

A paper portfolio is pretty easy.

You can by a nice three ring binder, or a more professional looking 'portfolio' presentation binder. I have a leather one that's the standard paper size and came with removable clear plastic pockets. Just run some nice printouts of your site designs to slip into the pockets. I might create a layout just for this showing the home page and subpage of a site design, along with a list of any relevant info (or logo, if I designed that too).

Okay sounds good, but should I just print out my designs, and then place information about the client aswell?

And how am I going to do the digital ( cd? ) version?

I'd say print the home page with a description of the site and all major pages with a description of that page.

As far as the cd version you could make a movie with images or a powerpoint presentation.
