Contest School logo design contest - multiple winners possible, $10

Need a logo designed for an English language training school in China. The English name of the school is Brainseed International.

I'm interested in a logo that contains only the first part of the school's name, ie, brainseed (could be written as one or two words) as well as some sort of visual representation of the name... such as a seed growing in someone's brain, a light bulb, a globe or something else might also be pertinent. I am not a designer or all that creative, so I am hoping you would come up with something impressive.

For now, the colors are flexible, but after seeing your original design I might ask for some changes.

This contest could have multiple winners.
Payment can be by paypal only, unless you're in China, in which case there are many more options.
On a low budget here, because I'm not sure what to expect, so reward is $10, though I might be compelled to throw in a bonus or up the ante if I really like the designs I see.
Contest will run until I've chosen at least one winner.

First of all, thanks for the first effort!

Maybe I should not have given specific suggestions just as yet, for example, about the inclusion of a light bulb. What do you picture when you hear "Brain Seed" ... just go from there. As for more specific feedback, I hope to avoid something that looks too childish or cartoonish, and would prefer more of a corporate or professional look. Think financial institution, and that might get you on the right track.

You're getting closer to what I'd like. I like the second entry that includes the pencil, however, the text and overall style of all of your entries to me is also a bit cartoonish, and I'll say the same thing I said to the previous user - I hope to have something more along the lines that would exude an image of professionalism; something a financial institution that manages ridiculous amounts of money might be comfortable using.

The entry with the seed and the "S" growing up into a brain is also creative, just looks too simple for lack of a better word. The same goes for the final entry with the tree.

Have another idea that just popped into my head, perhaps the word brain could be encompassed in a brain, whereas seed could be represented by a seed somehow. However, once again, don't let me words limit you guys, just go with whatever images first come to your mind when you read the words "brain seed"
