So I didn't do anything, and I got no more news from AdSense, and the ads are still displaying on this site.. Does AdSense enjoys scaring publishers for nothing?
Yes I think so haha.. Look at their Google Moderator's answers: http://www.best-reviewer.com/google-moderator-giving-strange-answers-adsense-questions-7283.htm
I didn't do anything, and I got no more news from AdSense, and the ads are still displaying on this site.. Well that was the case until now... http://www.best-reviewer.com/google-adsense-you-have-3-working-days-make-changes-your-site-7330.htm But then today, big news, they decided to go ahead and disable ads from the site.. All this remember is under the false pretend that I have more than one mobile adsense unit on a site where in fact I have none! Well today I've had to fill in their form in order to ask a review, because yes, on 20th november, 16 days later, they've decided to go ahead and disable the ads due to this false issue.. So even though I don't want to waste time on this, now I have to since I'm not the only adsense publisher on this site... This is the notification email I received this morning, good news to wake up to " Google AdSense ad serving has been disabled to your site This message was sent from a notification-only email address that does not accept incoming email. I made an appeal and got an answer, now they don't talk about mobile ads anymore, but they told me I have 4 ad codes and would need to fix it: " Hello, There are 4 different ad codes appearing on the site this will have to be altered. Sincerely, The Google AdSense Team " I've looked at the source code again and can only see 3 ad units codes, and 3 link unit codes, which is within adsense's tos.. So I explained again, sent them a text file with the 6 ad codes I've found and we'll see how this works out in the end.
They have absolute monopoly in AdServing Business.. The next best would give you 10% of what adSense can pay so, they do run the service with scare tactics.. Unfortunately, there is not much any one can do.. if they stick it somewhere you have to bare it. It is better than just banning your adSense account.. (with they don't mind doing)
Yes, I think in this case there is a chance to get it resolved because it is clearly a mistake.. Or maybe I'm missing something, but I have no idea what, I've wasted time re checking a source code which I know very well already, there's no mobile ads and no more regular adsense code that is allowed in adsense tos.. But yes they can still decide to maintain their decision, and do the same for all my sites, even ban my account, they can do what they want it is in the contract I agreed with when signing up with them in 2003
Of course I got no more answer from them, and I stopped trying after that last email.. So the ads are disabled since last november on this site.. I feel like trying again an appeal some day, because this site was earning honest money with adsense, but if it's to receive no answer or a crap answer like they did only once, not very interesting.. A good thing is they haven't done anything similar to any other of my sites, they could, it's so easy this way.. But they haven't yet.
