    Braindead (1992)

    At the time, Jackson’s satirical splatterfest was by far the goriest movie ever made (at least in the English language), yet the tone is gruesomely funny rather than violent or cruel.

    Hmmm .... I have watched almost all movies from Friday the 13th series. The first one scared me to death. :eek: I think that's the most horror of all.
    BTW, I was watching Freddy vs Jason yesterday. That's a good horror movie too.
    Who do you think is scarier? Freddy Krueger or Jason Voorhees? What about opening a poll for this one?

    Me personally I would have to say that older movies tend to be more scary, for example the 1970's Exorcist.
    Although there has been some pretty creepy horror movies latey like "the conjuring".
    Can anyone name a recent horror movie that is genuinely scary but also has a decent storyline?
