I vote for Final Destination. It scares me 'coz its the real thing! You can't stop death, it will follow you even you cheated it once.
Try Antichrist with Willem Dafoe in - not traditional horror, more psychological but has some horrid scenes in it. Or you could watch some classics like Hellraiser - very dated so not scary in a jumpy way but very gory.
Nightmare in elms street , though no the scariest movie may be , but it was really a sort of both horror and interesting.
just see mirrors in full digital sound effect area, surely you will know what is scary, the best sound thrilled movie
I've gotta say the original Exorcist, only because I saw parts of it when I was 5. Not one horror movie to date has scared me since...
But there are no ghosts in it. Its more of a thriller movie. In horror category I love Grudge, Exorcism, The Ring, etc. Paranormal Activity is good too.
I watch a lot of horror movies so I would say that for gore Wrong Turn 2 - Left for Dead is one of the worst other good and scary horror movies are: - Children of the Corn I Spit On Your Grave 2010 Remake Dead Silence Eden Lake The Last House on the Left The Collector The Hills Have Eyes The Shining
the only Hollywood movie that scared me a little was "Ring", in bollywood the recent "Ragini MMS" had some scary moments.
